Idi Amin
Amin ordered murders using euphemisims that were recognized as orders for execution by his henchmen. One phrase was "Give him the VIP treatment" which meant death after torture, a phrase i heard him use when he was ordering the death of the Minister of Information, Alex Ojera in september 1972. Other code phrases were "Take him to Malire" and "Kalasi" which means "death" in Nubian, a language few ugandans speak. Source Henry Kyemba.....

A taxi driver at the time of the coup later a District Commissioner in Toro). Was the second in command when journalists N. Stroh and Robert Siedle went to investigate massacres in Mbarara. The commander Lt Col Ali Fadhul Warriss, was in Kampala at the time and was in close contact with Amin. Stroh and juma got into a heated argument. The two Americans were killed and were buried in a shallow grave nearby. Major Juma was later seen driveing 'stroh's ble Volkswagen in Mbarara. When the American Embasys in Kampala began inquiries a week later, the bodies were dug up from their grave, put into sacks and burned in the barracks. Their remains were dumped in a river. The car was burned and thrown into a mountain valley.
Brigadier Bogere
Chief Medical Officer of the Army. He is the one who phoned Idi Amin, about Ahmed Oduka's death.
Re: Oduka by H.Kyemba
Ahmed Oduka was one of the men who had reported tha amin planned to asassinate Obote on rturn from Singapore. He had fled immediately after the coup to Mombasa. One of Amin's men visited him ther in march and told Oduka that it woul be safe to return. When he arrived, he was taken to see Amin, who asked him to record a statement at Makindye prison. The meeting was friendly, but as soon as Oduka left, Amin ordred him to be "taken to Malire" There his skull was smashed in with a club. News of the murder reached Amin while I was with him. He was telephoned by Brig Bogere, who reported the facts of Oduka's death. Amin turned to me and said coldly, "Oduka is dead" as if reporting the completion of some trivial task. I already knew btter than to react in any way... Source. Henry Kyemba. Amin's former Minister of Health.

the brute Idi Amin’s era, had earlier been sentenced to death by the
Kampala High Court.

Ali Toweli
Sudanes Nubian. Run one of Amin's instruments of terror, the Public Safety Unit (Naguru) which acquired notoriety in late 1971 when he took over.
A peculiarly sadistic form of death was developed by Ali Towelli. To save ammunition, one prisoner was forced to batter out the brains of another with a heavy hammer on the promise of a reprieve. The "executioner" is then killed in the same way by another brought from the cells with the same promise.

Brigadier Isaac Maliyamungu
One of the most evil was this Lieutenant who was in charge of quelling dissent in the army. Before he joined the army, he had been a gatekeeper at nyanza Textile Industries, where Kisajja(Henry Kyemba's brother) was personnel manager. At the time of the coup, he commandeered a tank with which he shot up the entrance to the Entebbe airport terminal, killing two priests. After the coup he headed Amin's execution gangs, with unlimite power to execute anybody in the army, even officers senior to him His modes of execution are as atrocious as anything imaginable. he is fond of disemboweling. Along with several other officers, he is known to have executed his victims by having them run over by tank. But perhaps the grisliest episode concerned Francis Walugembe, who had previously been Mayor of Masaka. In September 1972, Walugembe was arrested, had his genitals cut off and was paraded through the streets before being killed and dismembered. So violent and brutal is Malyamungu that even Amin once commented to me that he feared he might be going mad.

Colonel John Mwaka

On June 4, 1974, the tribunal sat for the second time, according to the records available.
Lt Col Aseni had just returned from exile from Congo, and as soon as he returned, he was arrested and court marshalled.
He was accused of treason and therefore would be
hanged if convicted. But the soldiers had resolved that in the event
that he was sentenced to death, they would organise for another coup.
Amin got that military intelligence and secretly told Col Mwaka,
chairman of the military tribunal, to alter the judgment and exonerate
Aseni of all charges.
Aseni was, therefore, released and was later appointed to the USSR as Uganda’s ambassador.
He died in battle in 1980 near Bondo, Arua, in the war against Tanzanians and Ugandan forces that had ousted Amin a year earlier.
